Stone Cross School

The Friends of Stone Cross School are a group who meet together, have fun and raise money for additional resources for the school.

Every year different events are planned to raise funds. These include:

• School discos
• Fireworks
• Christmas Fair
• Summer Fair

An overview of how we have used the money to enhance and enrich Stone Cross children’s learning experiences in the last academic year are below;

· Personalised book bags for all Foundation Stage children

· Year 3 swimming lessons

· Christmas Crackers provided with their festive meal as well as a visit from Santa.

· Books for the Reading Raffle

· Easter Eggs

· Donation towards the new outdoor track

· Music lessons for Years 4,5 and 6

· New books for the library

FOSCS have been very busy recently and have been raising lots of money for our school!

The main event was the Summer Fair where £2800 was raised! This is fantastic! The school discos followed a week later and there have been lots of donations from the FOSCS 2024 challenge 

A big thank you to everyone who has worked so hard this term to make all of this happen to benefit our children and school!
